Consultation and Coordination

Every child, no matter their condition, is going to have learning styles different from his or her peers. The same is especially true with children who suffer from Autism. This facet of our operation is designed to assess the individual, and identify his or her specific strengths and deficits. From there, we develop a learning program that is specific and applicable to the individual child – a kind of road map designed by the type of instruction necessary.

The next step is to maintain consistent Parent Treatment Meetings. The purpose of these is to fully communicate the progress that the child is making, address concerns the parents may have, and to potentially enrich or update the program if it seen to be necessary. More than anything, we want to emphasize that this is a journey not just for the children, but for the parents as well. Our services are intended to give parents a full understanding of the circumstances, and a greater preparation for the future.

Finally, we move on to IEP Meetings, or: Individual Education Plan Meetings. Here we take what our specialists have learned about the child and his/her specific learning style, and apply to the world of schools, teachers, and public education. These meetings take place with the schools to review the progress the child is making. Oftentimes, parents find these meetings overwhelming on their own. That is why Autism Inc. is there provide educational insights and emotional support. We help the schools develop an effective IEP, so that not only does the child get the most out of their education, but the schools and the parents are guaranteed to be communicating effectively.

In furtherance of this goal, we also offer Training & Support for teachers. Working as an educator for children with Autism can be an intimidating challenge, but our experts are here to help by providing both group and individualized training over evidence-based practices. Not only that, but we also offer in-classroom support. Finally, we perform assessments of teachers to ensure that your child's IEP is being handled properly.

Here at Autism Inc., we take absolutely every necessary step to ensure that your child gets the most out of their education. Contact Us today to learn more about our Consultation And Coordination process.
